Family Lifestyle Things to do with kids

Urban Air-The perfect place for kids to play.

Urban Air have tons of cool activities for you and your child to love.

I am convinced that every child has a computer chip inside them that’s programmed to do extra unnecessary movements. You know, those movements like doing a cartwheel down the middle of a grocery aisle for no reason. Jumping from couch to couch in the living room playing floor is lava. My favorite one is swinging from the bar in the closet of their bedroom.

Urban Air Waiver

When you first arrive at the location before you pay, you must fill out the waiver. You can fill out waivers online or once you arrive at Urban Air.

There are kiosks available at the entrance to complete the waiver if you need to.

You must fill out a new waiver on every visit to Urban Air.

After the waiver is signed, you make your way to the front desk to purchase a pair of socks and pick which package you would like.

What types of Packages does Urban Air have?

Urban Air has 4 different packages available. Those packages are the following:

  • Basic Attraction Includes- basic trampolines
  • Deluxe Attraction Includes- Basic trampolines, a Kids area, a Tubes-Indoor playground, Battle Beam, Warrior Course, and Prozone,
  • Ultimate Attraction Includes- Basic Trampolines, Kids Area ( 7 & under), Battle Beam, Warrior Course, Prozone, Leap of Faith, and Climbing Walls.
  • Platinum Attraction Includes- Basic Trampolines, Kids Area ( 7 & under) Battle Beam, Warrior Course, Prozone, Leap of Faith, Climbing Walls, and unlimited Virtual Reality,

Since my children are so young, we usually purchase the Deluxe Attraction, which includes the Prozone, Warrior course, Battle Beam, Tubes-Indoor Playground, Kids area for children 7 or younger, and the Basic Trampoline section.

This package is excellent for my children because it is more than enough and keeps them busy.

Can parents jump too?

When my children were younger, I purchased the parent pass, which is 50% off any package price.

I purchased the pass because there were some activities my children enjoyed, but I, as a parent, was uncomfortable with them doing it alone.

Since I do not jump with the kids as much as I used to, I do love that there is a discounted price for the parents.

Now that my children are older and can play independently, I grab a seat and read a book while I wait for the kids.

Where can I store my items?

Urban Air has a place to hang your coats for those cold days if you’re wearing one. They also have a place to store your shoes as well.

You can rent lockers if you do not want to store your items with everyone else.

Basic trampolines

How long should we stay at Urban Air?

Urban Air can give you up to 2 hours of playtime, which is enough time to do all the attractions they have.

Honestly, children never really get tired of playing, especially when they are playing with other children. I give them about 90 minutes to 2 hours of playtime and then gather them up and tell them it’s time to go.

When I am ready to leave, my kids still want to play most of the time.

Things to do

Urban air has a great variety of attractions to choose from:

Battle Beam

How long can you stay on the balance beam without being knocked into the foam pit by your opponent? The battle beam is so much fun; you have to give this a try.

Climb Walls

Is rock climbing indoors. A staff member will safely strap your child in a harness. If they like climbing things, they will surely like climbing the walls at Urban Air.

DodgeBall

You’ve probably played dodgeball in gym class which was a lot of fun. Imagine playing dodgeball on a trampoline; this is 100 times better and a great workout.

Tubes Playground

This fun course is for visitors who are under 5’2″. Slides, swings, and tunnels throughout the course will keep your child playing for hours.

Drop Zone & Pro Zone

You know that saying, “The kids are bouncing off the walls.” Well, with the Pro Zone, there are literally trampolines on the floors and walls for your children to enjoy.

Runway Tumble Track

a single-lane trampoline on which your child can do running flips.

The Apex Trampoline

This is the gravity-defying trampoline that allows you to jump up up up, as much as your bouncing child can take.

VR

The Virtual Reality games are so cool you can fight robots and dragons, or you can throw snowballs for points.

Warrior Course

This obstacle course is full of fun-filled activities, which include; making your way across the hanging bars, swinging on rings, climbing, and bouncing on sloping walls. See who will be the first one to make it to the end.

Slam dunk zone

The name says it all. This trampoline will help you jump high enough to make a basket. I still couldn’t score a basket, even with the help of the trampoline.

***Please remember to check which activities are included with your purchase.***

Are outside food and drinks allowed in Urban Air?

Urban Air does not allow outside food. However, there is a cafe in the building which has a variety of finger foods to eat. There are foods like chicken fingers, pizza, hot wings, pretzels, and more.

I love Urban Air’s wings.

You can also purchase drinks such as; water, Gatorade, soft drinks, and more.

Does Urban Air have any discounts?

At times, Urban Air will run a special on Groupon, which is probably every mom’s go-to place for great deals. Also, check at home mailers for discounts.

If you are a frequent visitor of Urban Air, sign up for the available membership package.

Memberships are charged every month, and the pricing is very reasonable. ****See Urban Air website for full details****

Birthday Parties at Urban Air

There are two types of themed parties for Urban Air; they have the Classic theme and the Glow theme.

With the Classic theme, all of the lights are on.

Glow theme; Lights out and the laser, disco, and black lights come on. This theme is available at selected times, so check with the facility to book your party accordingly.

What does my party package include?

All parties come with; 2 hours of playtime, a host, electronic invitations, party favors, plates, forks, napkins, jump socks, bottled water, and set-up/clean-up.

You can also request to have your party at a table in the main area or in a party room where it is more private.

My family was invited to a birthday party where the parent rented out the entire facility. All activities and food were included. ( I did not want to see that bill.)

Luckily you do not have to rent out the whole facility to have a birthday party for your child.

Can I bring my own decorations?

Although Urban Air provides the decorations, you can also bring your decorations if you choose.

Can I bring a cake for my party?

Yes, you can bring your cake to the party, but Urban Air does not allow ice cream.
