In this post, I will tell you everything you need to know about staying at Floridays Resort Orlando and how it may be an excellent location for you and your family to lodge for the next few nights.
When going on vacation, after deciding on what theme parks you would like to visit, the next most important decision on the list is where to stay. Nowadays, there are so many options available, now the hard part is picking the right place to stay.

What is the price range of the rooms at Floridays Resort Orlando?
At Floridays Resorts, Orlando, rates can start at $157 per night.
Planning your trip ahead of time will save you the most amount of money. We found that booking our rooms a couple of months in advance gave us some time of savings.
When booking our stays, we reserve with Hotels.com because we love the perks of getting a night free after booking 10 visits with them.
Additional fees at Floridays Resort Orlando
Once you arrive at the hotel and check-in, Floridays Resort will put a security hold on your credit card of $50 per night as a security fee. The resort will return this fee to your card once you have checked out of the hotel.
There is also a resort fee non-refundable fee of $26.67 plus tax for each day you stay at the resort.
Parking is free at this location, and plenty of spaces exist.
What are the room sizes at Floridays Resorts Orlando?
We found Floridays Resort Orlando very spacious while also giving you a little feeling of home.
The 2-Bedroom suite is 1,017 square feet, which fits up to 6 people.
The 3- Bedroom suite is 1,306 square feet, which fits up to 8 people.

What do the suites include?
Each of the suites at Floridays Resort Orlando has a fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances and granite countertops. This makes it easy for your family to prepare their meals during their stay, which can be a great way to save money on food expenses.
With a big family like ours and each of our schedules to wake up at different times while on vacation. Having a fully equipped kitchen came in handy.
We ate breakfast in the room before visiting the parks, and most evenings, we returned to the resort for dinner.
The suites also have a living area with comfortable furniture and a private balcony or patio, where your family can enjoy the beautiful view of the resort’s surroundings.
Does Floridays Resort Orlando provide housekeeping?
Housekeeping is not included in your stay at Floridays Resort Orlando, but you can request it at an additional fee.
If you want full housekeeping* for a 2 bedroom, the fee is $50. For a 3 bedroom, the cost is $60.
This fee includes: Changing the sheets, replacing towels, removing the trash, vacuuming the floors, cleaning surfaces, cleaning dishes, and replacing bathroom items.
There’s also an option for light touch housekeeping services:
This option costs $20 for a 2 bedroom and $30 for a 3 bedroom.
This includes: Exchanging the towels, removing the trash, dusting, vacuuming, and replacing the bathroom items.
If you are not interested in any of these services, there are washers and dryers in the rooms to wash soiled towels and garbage chute on each floor to throw out your trash.
You can find replacement garbage bags in your suite under the kitchen sink.
If you want to clean the floors, there’s also a vacuum, broom, and dustpan in the bedroom closet.
What amenities does Floridays Resort Orlando have?
In addition to the spacious rooms, Floridays Resort Orlando has a range of amenities guests can enjoy during their stay. These include two outdoor swimming pools, a hot tub, a fitness center, a game room, and a children’s playground. The resort also has a convenience store on-site where you can purchase snacks, drinks, and other essentials.

- Therapeutic Splash Pool
- Jacuzzi Hot Tub
- Poolside Bar and Grill
- Second pool with a Gazebo
We spent more time at the pool than I would like to admit. My children had more fun at the pool than going to the themed parks. I guess you could say I was lucky.
The only problem is we were there for a cheer competition, so making them leave the pool was torturous for me.
Activities at the pool include
Every Thursday and Friday night, starting at 8 pm, Floridays Resort plays a movie by the pool. This is called their Dive-In movie night. When we were there, they were playing the movie, “The Grinch.”
Every Saturday from 7 pm until 10 pm and Sunday from 11 am until 2 pm, there is a DJ at the pool.
The music at the pool is already impressive, but a little human touch to the music wasn’t so bad either.
Seating at the pool area
The one thing I enjoyed about this poolside was that there were always enough seats. You did not have to hurry to be the first ones at the poolside to put your towels down.
I would’ve noticed if the pool got too crowded because there were two days when my children stayed there for at least 4 hours straight, and it never got too crowded.
Restaurants near Floridays Resort Orlando
One of the most significant advantages of staying at Floridays Resort Orlando is the proximity to the many restaurants and dining options. Orlando is known for its diverse culinary scene and plenty of dining options within a few miles of the resort. Some popular restaurants nearby include Benihana, The Cheesecake Factory, Sundial Cafe, Sushiology, and Panda Express, to name a few.
Each of these restaurants is within walking distance of Floridays Resort. However, during the day, the traffic on the highway can get pretty busy, so you may want to drive your car instead of walking.
Other shopping near Floridays Resort Orlando
Apart from these restaurants, several fast-food options and grocery stores are nearby. This makes it easy for your family to stock up on groceries and other essentials during your stay. Directly across the road from Floridays Resort they are currently building a Popeyes that will open soon.
Floridays Resort Orlando location
Floridays Resort is located at 12562 International Dr., Orlando, Florida. We found this resort to be conveniently located next to most of the areas we planned on visiting while in Orlando.
On most trips, my family travels together, but on this particular trip, half of our family arrived 3 days later, so driving back to the airport from the hotel was a quick 20-minute drive, so it’s pretty close to the MCO airport.
Floridays Resort to Universal Studio
If you are not staying at the themed parks, you want to be sure to stay somewhere that is at least close to them. After traveling to Orlando, the last thing you want to do is take a long drive to any of the themed parks.
Floridays Resort is located within a reasonable distance from each themed park by car or shuttle.

The resort also provides a complimentary shuttle service to these theme parks, a great way to save money on transportation costs.
